The Uptown Club gets a makeover

At The Uptown Club, you eat meat—lots of meat—but from April, the menu will also feature a few vegetarian dishes. Oh, and the restaurant’s interior has also been completely renovated.

The meat restaurant on Amsterdam’s Van Baerlestraat has now been open for about two years. You can eat steaks, entrecôtes, burgers and côte de boeuf made from Japanese Wagyu or Black Angus beef. So no bargain-bin meat, but high-quality cuts. Straight from the charcoal grill oven.

Meat and vegetarian dishes

From April, you’ll also find a few vegetarian additions on the new menu: beet tartare and coconut-lime soup, for example. Don’t worry, meat lovers are still being catered to. The restaurant is adding a juicy super burger to the new menu.

A fun extra: the owners wanted to give their restaurant a true meatclub look and completely revamped the interior. At Uptown Club 2.0, if you’re lucky, you can look straight into the open kitchen from your table.
