These are the 400 best wines under 25 euros

Frequently asked question: ‘do you know a tasty wine? A really tasty one?’ You’ll find the answer in The Wine Guide, published this week. For it, three bona fide Masters of Wine (MW) selected the 400 best wines under 25 euros.

Tasted blind
What makes this guide unique compared with other wine guides is that all the wines were tasted blind. More than 2,200 (!) wines were sniffed and assessed this summer with their labels covered by Cees van Casteren MW, Frank Smulders MW and Job de Swart MW. They are the country’s only three Masters of Wine (the highest title attainable within the wine industry). Three isn’t many, but it is an exceptionally demanding qualification – worldwide, there are only 382 Masters of Wine.
For enthusiasts and connoisseurs
The guide is suitable for wine lovers and connoisseurs. You’ll find good wines at good prices for weeknights, as well as somewhat more elegant examples for Christmas dinner or another special occasion. And they are all available from independent specialist wine shops, supermarkets and online wine retailers. Cheers!
