It’s been a year since the Flamin’ Hot Cheetos came out, so it was time for something new: the Flamin’ Hot Doritos. Intended only for the real daredevils who can handle very spicy food extremely well.
Doritos already has several spicy varieties on the market, such as Doritos Roulette, where you literally play the life-threatening game of Russian Roulette, but with chips. With the Flamin’ Hot Doritos, let’s just say every chip is the bullet—good luck!
The hero
The Flamin’ Hot Cheetos were invented by Richard Montañez, a janitor at Frito-Lay, the parent company of Lay’s, Doritos and Cheetos. He simply loves spicy food and came up with a layer of seasoning that you can sprinkle over anything. Thank god for this hero.

Step-by-step plan
In the Netherlands, neither Flamin’ Hot Doritos nor Flamin’ Hot Cheetos are available, but if you ever happen to be in America or order them, prepare yourself:
Step 1: don’t wear too many clothes because you’re going to get hot.
Step 2: stock up on plenty of milk, not water.
