This is the new Rueda Winefluencer 2022

Recently, together with the Spanish wine region of Rueda, we were looking for the new Rueda Winefluencer. A search that generated thousands of responses. Who claimed this delicious title?

The call on Facebook (44,000 responses!) for the new Rueda Winefluencer was an unprecedented success. In the end, 50 Dutch and Flemish wine fans competed for the coveted title, which means being the face of D.O. Rueda in the Netherlands and Belgium for a year.

And the winner is…

Flemish Debbie van Dijck from Brasschaat, also known as @Goestingske, convinced the jury by blogging extensively about D.O. Rueda through a digital wine journey, but also with good wine-and-food pairings, a Rueda wine quiz, grid posts, stories and juicy Rueda fun facts accompanied by inviting images.

In addition to a cash prize of 5,000 euros and a wine trip to Rueda, she will inspire us for a year with the wonderful wines from this special wine region.
