Tip: YUMLER in Amsterdam Nieuw-West

Do you live in Amsterdam Nieuw-West? Unfortunately, you don’t have that much choice when it comes to healthy, flavorful takeaway and delivery meals. Luckily, there’s now the wonderful YUMLER.

You’ll find YUMLER at the end of the long Jan Evertsenstraat. The incredibly large, open space is reminiscent of a canteen. A very beautiful one, though. You can come here several times a week for a meal, as an easy alternative to cooking yourself.
Spicy harira and fish stew
I’ve already tasted it and was impressed. Generously topped sandwiches, a spicy harira soup, flavorful, filled salads and an incredibly tasty Mexican fish stew. I’ll definitely order the latter sometime, just like the harira. The cooking style is reminiscent of Donnay Hay meets Yotam Ottolenghi meets Jamie Oliver. Healthy, but not boring at all.

I don’t think it’s expensive. A main course costs between € 9 and € 12, and soup costs less than € 6. If you eat there more often, the menu changes regularly. Favorites naturally keep coming back.
For now, you can pick up your meal or sit down in the canteen itself (definitely do so; they also have delicious lemonades). YUMLER also plans to launch a delivery app.
