Tony’s new chocolate bar

Alongside the brand-new letter bar with pepernoten and foam candies, Tony’s is also introducing other variations on the Sinterklaas bar, such as milk chocolate with pieces of marzipan. And for even more fun: the milk chocolate bars come in every letter of the alphabet!

Abuses in the cocoa industry

And let’s not beat around the bush. Quality comes at a price. Most of the cocoa for Tony’s bars comes from Côte d’Ivoire, where the price is as much as 50% higher than what other brands pay. Because, as Tony’s explains, this is how they lift farmers out of poverty and bring an end to abuses in the cocoa industry, such as child labor and deforestation, more quickly. It tastes just a little better that way, doesn’t it?

Tony’s letter bars are available in all flavors at, among others, Albert Heijn, Jumbo and Plus. Of course, you can also find them at Tony’s Super Store in the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam and Tony’s online chocolate shop. The price of the bars starts at €3,39
