Tony’s Chocolonely has (yet again!) launched a new bar: white chocolate with candied biscuit and cherry

Tony’s kers

Corona or not, things aren’t standing still at Tony’s Chocolonely, because they’ve launched yet another new bar. And it’s one for those with a serious sweet tooth. Be quick, though, because this so-called relay bar isn’t here to stay.

The cherry on top

This white wonder is literally the cherry on top of your cake, because the creamy bar is filled with candied biscuit and cherry. And yes, that really is a delicious combination. Or should I say: deliciously old-fashioned, because Tony also surprised us a few times with highly experimental flavours, such as the white bar Turmeric Chai Coconut and the Milk Honeycomb Thyme. Naturally, this new bar, just like Tony’s milk and dark chocolate bars, is made with traceable cocoa beans from West Africa.

The white candied biscuit cherry bar takes over from another white bar, the one with lemon, poppy seed and crumble. The milk pecan crunch will remain on sale until autumn. So you’ll find two relay bars next to each other on the shelf. The choice is yours… or get both: one for yourself and one to share.

Passing on the baton

The new bar is available on the shelves at Albert Heijn—you’ll recognise it by its two-tone wrapper—and at Tony’s own Super Stores in Amsterdam. Be quick, though, because before you know it, it will have passed the baton on to the next seasonal flavour.
