You need: Lush cocktails

Those evenings when you feel like having something delicious to drink, but all you have at home are loose ingredients that you don’t know what to do with. That’s what Lush is for.

The app, unfortunately only available for iOS, contains enough recipes to make sure you’re never left high and dry again. Simply enter the ingredients you have at home and a recipe emerges from the sleek design. Ideal, if you ask us.

Fruity or nutty

The drinks are categorized in various ways. You can select by flavor (fruity, nutty, ‘minty’, etcetera) or by occasion. Are you going for fancy or girls’ night? The cocktails are also organized in an alphabetical list, with a handy graphic icon next to each one showing you roughly what the ingredient ratios are. The ‘movie drinks’ section is especially fun. Drinks like the White Russian from The Big Lebowski or anything with white wine, as in Tootsie? It’s all possible.

Your favorites

If you happen to find a golden cocktail, or simply a flavor you really enjoy, you can save it to your favorites. For when you’re sober again and have forgotten everything else. Lush Cocktails is available in the App Store and costs €2.29.
