The Ultimate Hangover Cure Airfryer Breakfast

tosti

There aren’t many things as versatile as the Airfryer. With the Philips Airfryer, you can fry using hot air, but you can also use it to make the perfect hangover breakfast. We’ve lined up the ultimate hacks for a 100% air-fried breakfast.

You can use the Airfryer perfectly well to bake bread. The great thing is that your bread can be ready after about 18 minutes of baking. Okay: your dough does need to rise first, of course, but let’s not count that for convenience’s sake. No hassle with long preheating times, but straight into action. All you have to do is wait and check occasionally to see how far the bread has baked. How about this delicious brown seeded bread? Or a pumpkin bread?

French toast or grilled cheese?

And while you’re busy: pretty much everything you can fry in a pan can also be made in the Airfryer. Think French toast: simply make it the way you always do, then it only needs 3 minutes in the Airfryer.

For the perfect air-fried grilled cheese, you only need 7 minutes. You can use this grilled cheese recipe, but of course you can also tweak it endlessly until you have exactly the grilled cheese that meets all your wishes. We’re big fans of grilled cheese with mozzarella, spinach and artichoke and this grilled cheese with Gruyère, Serrano ham, caramelized garlic and tomato chutney.

Bacon ‘n eggs

Want an egg with that? No problem, because you can cook those in the Airfryer too. For the ultimate (hangover) breakfast, you need: 2 eggs and as much bacon as you like. Cook the eggs in their shells at 120 °C for about 16 minutes; the yolks will then be just set. Then move on to the bacon. Preheat the Airfryer to 200 °C. Divide the bacon over the Airfryer rack and cook it for about 7 minutes until nice and crispy. Is it not crispy enough yet? Add about 3 more minutes and your bacon will be crispy, chewy on the inside, and not shrunken in size.

You now have everything you need for an extensive breakfast, prepared entirely with the help of the Airfryer. Only that orange juice—you’ll really have to get that somewhere else.
