24h Noord food tour

24h Amsterdam is an initiative of the Municipality of Amsterdam to introduce people to the shops, museums, theatres, hotels and clubs in other districts. After all, you often only know the fun places in your own neighbourhood. On 29 October 2016, the Noord district is in the picture and activities are organised everywhere. Here is our selection.

A cup of coffee, art and culture

The Affordable Art Fair opens a little earlier on 29 October and from half past nine, the AAF will serve a small art, culture and poetry breakfast for up to 30 visitors of 24H Noord. Here you can enjoy coffee, croissants and orange juice while poet Piet de Bruin Kops recites his poems, and take a short tour of the fair.

Immersing yourself in chocolate

During 24H Noord, you can take a tour of the Chocolatemakers’ chocolate factory, where chocolate is made from bean to bar. Founded by Rodney and Enver, the Chocolatemakers are independent chocolate makers.

Rolling Rock Kitchen Live

During 24H Noord, enjoy lunch and dinner with a beautiful view over the IJ, with live music from 15:00 onwards, ranging from glam to rock and from poetry to lyrics. In between, great records will be played.
