What’s new?

Well, the cuisine—that’s completely new every six months. Since opening in May, everything has revolved around Peru, and in autumn that will change again. The men aren’t revealing which country will be next, but it definitely won’t be South America. We do know that the mega-popular countries are being skipped. Thailand or Italy won’t be coming up anytime soon; the focus is on undiscovered culinary destinations.

On the menu?

The men travelled to Peru personally to search for the country’s authentic flavours. Of course, we can’t overlook the Peruvian dish that has conquered the world by now: ceviche. Fish is cooked in acid, resulting in a wonderfully summery and refreshing dish. We actually like the tiradito even more, a lighter version of ceviche made with acid and onion. Also on the menu: Peruvian fish soup, pulpo, and for dessert we had a delicious cinnamon roll with meringue.

What stands out?

Is the sun shining? Then you’ll be wonderfully comfortable here on the large terrace. With the sun on your face and a view of the water and the beautiful houses of the Watergraafsmeer. During the day, you can also settle in here for lunch, for example with a queso sandwich with chimichuri, tomato and avocado. Fortunately, the ceviche is also simply on the menu in the afternoon.
