Ajax fans take note: this is where you can eat an Ajax burger

If you’re still looking for a place to grab a burger before tonight’s match, Brasserie van Dam is the place to be. They are serving a special Ajax ‘lucky burger’.

For the occasion, they have added the Ajax logo to the bun of their black Angus beef burger.

The burger at the well-known Amsterdam brasserie is normally topped with lettuce, tomato, ‘Van Dam sauce’ and optional cheese and bacon, but to make things even more festive, you can now also pimp it with fresh truffle, says co-owner Sebastiaan van Dam.

The Ajax burger (from €13.50) is available to eat tonight (30 April) and at the home match on Wednesday 8 May. “And hopefully at the final too,” says Sebastiaan. In any case, he has every confidence: “We’ll win 1–3 tonight!”
