ALDI expands Schultenbräu range with new specialty beers

ALDI has good news for specialty beer lovers. The iconic private-label brand Schultenbräu is expanding its range with three brand-new specialty beers. Following the success of the IPA and NEIPA, the new varieties are Tripel, Blond and NAIPA (non-alcoholic IPA). With this move, ALDI is responding to the growing popularity of craft beer, IPAs and non-alcoholic beers. Quality and value? Head to ALDI!

Schultenbräu: iconic beer since 1988
Schultenbräu has been an ALDI private-label brand since 1988 and has acquired cult status over the years. From films to schlager hits, this beer can be found everywhere. But Schultenbräu is more than just a well-known name. In May 2024, for example, it proved its quality by finishing second in the AD canned beer test.
Schultenbräu Pils achieved an impressive score of 8, making it the best private-label beer, while leaving various major brands far behind. And now Schultenbräu is expanding its range even further.
Three new Schultenbräu flavours: from blond to non-alcoholic
The three new specialty beers that Schultenbräu is adding to its range fit perfectly with recent trends in the beer world. IPAs remain a favourite among many beer lovers, but demand for non-alcoholic beers is also high. ALDI is cleverly responding to this with NAIPA, a tropical-inspired non-alcoholic beer that offers the same rich flavours as an IPA, but without the alcohol hangover.
1. Schultenbräu Juicy Blond: silky-smooth blond beer
The first new variety is Juicy Blond. This Belgian blond beer has a fresh and fruity aroma with subtle sweetness and a mild body. It is an easy-drinking beer: fruity, easy-drinking, juicy, with subtle bitterness and sweetness. With an alcohol content of 6%.
2. Schultenbräu Tropical Tripel: powerful tripel with tropical fruit and a spicy finish
For lovers of full-bodied beers, Schultenbräu is offering Tropical Tripel. This tripel has a hoppy character with tropical fruit such as banana, clove and a light peppery tingle. With an alcohol content of 7.5%.
3. Schultenbräu NAIPA: tropical, fruity and completely alcohol-free
The third new variety is NAIPA, the non-alcoholic IPA. This beer is perfect for beer lovers who enjoy the rich flavour of an IPA but prefer to skip the alcohol. It is brewed with aromatic hops such as Citra and Simcoe, which together create a tropical flavour of mango, peach and other fruity notes. It is the ideal choice for anyone who wants to experience the taste of craft beer without the alcohol.
Top-quality beer at a great price
With the expansion of the Schultenbräu range, ALDI has once again proved that specialty beer and great value can go hand in hand. Whether you are a fan of tropical fruity beers, a spicy tripel or a non-alcoholic IPA, you are in good hands with the new Schultenbräu varieties. And the best part? You get top quality at a price far below that of the major brands.
