All Pringles tested: these are the tastiest (and these we never want to try again)

Pringles chips

It seems pretty difficult to me, working for a major chip brand like Pringles. You have to come up with a new flavor every time and be a little original. While most people keep reaching for paprika and original, you do have to remain somewhat innovative. That’s why we’ve now been treated to flavors like hamburger, Joppie sauce fries and more of that kind of craziness (admittedly: I thought Lay’s garlic butter baguette flavor was really tasty and I’m annoyed that it’s no longer on the shelves).

Our friends at Delish therefore decided to test all the Pringles flavors and create an ultimate ranking. Something along the lines of ‘it’s a tough job…’ Well, I certainly wouldn’t have minded doing this myself, of course.

And the winner is…

In numero uno, the winner of all 22 flavors—may I have some drumroll, please—it isss… Original. WHUT? What a disappointment. Well, I do understand it to some extent, but I had hoped for a little more surprise. After all the attempts, all the hamburger flavors, original ultimately comes out on top. What about numbers two and three—are they a little more surprising? In second place is Ranch, a flavor we can’t get in the Netherlands. Annoying! Can someone bring one back for me from America?

Sour Cream & Onion

In third place is Cheddar Cheese, and I can live with that. I do indeed like that one too, although I’m more of a fan of Sour Cream & Onion myself—which comes in fourth place.

These Pringles never again

But of course, we also want to know which one was rated the grossest. That “honor” went to Lightly Salted, and honestly… What exactly did they expect at Pringles? Chips are supposed to be salty, so that “lightly” tells me enough already—no thanks. One place higher was Honey Mustard, but even if it had ranked higher, I’d still skip it. Doesn’t it sound absolutely disgusting? If this research has taught me anything, it’s this: keep it normal, because that’s crazy enough already. Original it is.
