Aloha Rotterdam, a park in the middle of the city

Lots of greenery, lots of light, a relaxed atmosphere and amazing food. Aloha in Rotterdam is a city park, bar, coffee roastery and did we mention that they have a wonderful terrace?

A unique location in the old Tropicana swimming pool with a beautiful view of the Maas, as if you have briefly escaped the city. The menu is full of dishes, most of whose ingredients are sourced from local businesses. Kitchen gardener, forager and chef Max Baar grows and forages specifically for Aloha’s kitchen. This all happens right on the terrace.

Tacos

The taco with beef, pickled cabbage and chipotle mayonnaise costs € 4. Other signature dishes include braised pork cheeks in Aloha white stout and oyster mushroom bitterballen with coffee mayonnaise.

Oxtail with whipped bone marrow

With drinks, order calamari with lemon and bagna cauda. As for the dinner menu, we can’t take our eyes off the braised oxtail with whipped bone marrow, fried quinoa and anchovies.
