At Lidl, you can now buy a copy of Le Creuset pans

It’s been on my wish list for a very long time: a Le Creuset pan. I think they’re incredibly beautiful, and you can cook wonderfully in them too (mmm, stewed meat!) The only downside is the price. No, Le Creuset pans aren’t exactly cheap. That’s why I was so happy to see what was available at Lidl: the supermarket is selling a copy of Le Creuset pans.

And all that for just a fraction of the price, of course. I’ve already put one in my shopping basket.

They have oval Dutch ovens, for example in 3-liter or 5.1-liter sizes. For the real big players, there’s a large 5.6-liter Dutch oven — I wonder whether it will fit in my kitchen, but I think it’s absolutely amazing. And then the prices: how much does it cost?

The smallest one (1.3 liters) costs € 19.99, the largest oval version of 5.6 liters costs € 54.99, and the medium-sized one costs € 24.99. Well, doesn’t that instantly make you want to start cooking? They’re available in four colors: cherry red, orange, black and autumnal dark green.

Cast-iron pumpkin pan

And the most fun one of all? That’s the cast-iron pumpkin pan. It measures 24.5 cm and costs € 39.99. The enamel coating is suitable for all heat sources and is easy to clean. Perfect for making this incredibly delicious rendang or bratwurst with sweet potato, quinoa and spinach.
