At this resort, you can swim in red wine

This country has been on my bucket list for years, and now I’m genuinely planning to go next year: Japan. My main reason for wanting to go so badly is the food, but now there’s another reason: swimming in red wine. Living the dream. Because yes, you can actually do this in Japan—and besides red wine, you can also swim in green tea, sake and coffee. But naturally, that’s not my preference.

Where is this? At the Yunessun Spa Resort in Kanagawa, near Tokyo. It may sound strange, but it’s also genuinely good for you; even Cleopatra is said to have done it because it helps combat ageing. Now that’s what I call good news.
Don’t you want to go there right away?
It also looks incredibly fun, and they refill the bath three times a day—and that’s quite an event to watch, too. Important side note: you’re absolutely not supposed to drink it. I can imagine that urge is hard to resist, but please don’t.
This entire resort looks absolutely brilliant, by the way: they have a gigantic water park, a jungle climbing course in the water, various waterfalls and swimming pools in caves, where you’re surrounded by aquariums filled with jellyfish. Oh, and gigantic Dr. Fish pools too—you know, the ones where you put your feet in and tiny fish nibble away all the dirt. Personally, I think it’s a complete nightmare (but I do have a huge phobia of fish), though people are always so enthusiastic about it.
