Bacchus Wine Festival

Something to look forward to: Bacchus, a wine festival in the Amsterdamse Bos. In addition to drinking delicious wine, the culinary line-up is truly mouth-watering.

Bacchus is the Roman god of wine, intoxication and drunkenness. Naturally, we can only applaud the fact that a festival is being organized in the name of this fine fellow.
Drinks
The weekend of June 9, 10 and 11 and the weekend of June 16, 17 and 18, the Amsterdamse Bos is the place to be for wine lovers. Wine from ten different wine shops will be sold at the festival. Upon arrival, you will receive a glass that you must keep with you (and may take home).
Wine experts will be walking around to taste and chat, but even if you don’t (yet) know anything about wine, you are more than welcome.
Food
Alcohol without food? No way. Chefs from Michelin-starred restaurants such as RIJKS® and Vermeer prepare a menu every evening in the Munchies restaurant for a limited number of guests. If you haven’t managed to secure a spot in the restaurant, you can visit the food trucks on the grounds.
Music
Another reason to head to the forest: the music. Douwe Bob and Extince will perform—to name just a few acts.
The festival grounds open at 4:00 PM on Fridays and at 2:00 PM on the other days. On Friday and Saturday, the festival closes at 11:00 PM, and on Sunday at 9:00 PM. Tickets cost € 15,- and are available online or at the participating wine shops. Check the website or the Facebook page for updates.
