BBQ king Jord Althuizen opens a stand in Foodhallen The Hague

We don’t know exactly when the doors of Foodhallen The Hague will open yet, but what we do know is that BBQ guru Jord Althuizen will have a permanent spot there with his Smokey Goodness Burgers & Bites. Lekkeâh pik!

Alongside the flame-grilled burgers, bar snacks and other BBQ specialties from Smokey Goodness Burgers & Bites, there will be plenty more to discover in the Foodhallen in The Hague.
Old favorites
The 40-year-old Hague institution Bistro-Mer is also coming, with Bar Pêche, where you can enjoy both classic mussels with fries and Peruvian ceviche. Vietstreet—which has been based in The Hague for four years—is bringing its Vietnamese bites to the halls, and the renowned Renato’s are also claiming their spot in their old hometown with not one, but two Italian stands. At Renato’s Pizzeria, they serve Roman-style pizza al taglio and topped focaccia. And at Renato’s Osteria, steaming plates of fresh pasta.
New faces
New arrivals include CeeCee’s Chicken & Chips, Dim Dim Sum and Holy Falafel. The names pretty much tell you exactly what you can get there. Just be sure to save room for dessert. At dessert bar The Sweet Spot, it’s not only those with a sweet tooth who are catered to, but also savory dessert lovers, because: a cheese board!
In total, twelve food stands will be coming to Foodhallen The Hague, one of them a pop-up. The final three names are still unknown. Foodhallen The Hague is expected to open at the end of 2019 in the De Haagse Bluf shopping courtyard.
