Big news from Amsterdam’s pop-up guru

Even in 2020, Michiel van der Eerde isn’t sitting still. At the beginning of the new year, Amsterdam’s pop-up guru will open Bar BAUT on Stadionweg, as a tribute to the hotspot that has been travelling around for 7 years now.

Over the past 6 editions of BAUT, quite a few unforgettable dishes have passed by. Like one of our favourites: steak tartare with bacon mayonnaise, oh boy. Also unforgettable: the scallops with cauliflower from BAUT #1. So it’s good news that, among others, these dishes will be on the menu as ‘Best of BAUT’.

Moving circus

Bar BAUT does not mean the end of the travelling BAUT. Since the moving circus keeps moving into iconic squatted buildings in Amsterdam, it has to keep itself alive by moving from one location to another. It winds its way through the city, resulting in a new and unique concept each time. In the meantime, BAUT will continue searching for a new location where BAUT #7 will emerge…
