Brilliant: train passenger deep-fries food on the train with a brought-along air fryer

I always love traveling by train abroad, but in the Netherlands I really never do it. Because they’re never on time anyway, and at the first snowflake, the majority of trains immediately stop running. No, you can’t exactly rely on the trains, and that also makes traveling a lot less relaxing. So you just have to make it enjoyable yourself, right?

At least, that’s what this train passenger in Brabant thought, making himself nice and comfortable for a moment. Not that he took his shoes off or anything, no — much better.

Deep-frying food on the train

This gentleman had simply brought a full-size air fryer onto the train and decided to do some deep-frying. A former intern at Omroep Brabant happened to be sitting in the same compartment and filmed this snack feast. His snack of choice? A delicious little cheese soufflé. Delicious. And given that prices at FEBO and other snack bars have also risen considerably, this is naturally by far the most affordable solution.

Maybe I should start traveling by train more often with accessories like these, too. Or better yet: design an air fryer in a to-go format. A gap in the market.
