Fine dining on Amsterdam soil: Chef Pasquale Carfora returns
From April onwards, Pasquale Carfora will also showcase his culinary talent in Amsterdam. The newly crowned JRE Chef of the Year 2025 and his team will host exclusive dinners at Mangia Pasta, Antonio Cavoto’s restaurant on Amstelveenseweg in Amsterdam-West.
After prestigious distinctions such as Italian Restaurant of the Year and a place in Top50Italy (the list of the best Italian restaurants outside Italy), Carfora is returning to the city where his Dutch adventure began. He previously worked as a chef at Grand Café Krasnapolsky and was responsible for the opening of the nhow hotel. Together with his partner Elisa Leune, he made his dream a reality: Restaurant Aroma in Vaassen – now a culinary hotspot in the Netherlands.
During the evenings at Mangia Pasta, Pasquale will serve an exclusive five-course menu for €98.50 per person. You can also order a matching wine pairing (for €49). The dishes reflect his signature style: authentic Italian, prepared with refined techniques and as many Dutch seasonal products as possible.
