Corgis and food go together perfectly. That was already clear from the Instagram account corgis in food, and it’s confirmed once again by this Japanese bakery that makes beautifully round ‘corgi butt buns’.

When it comes to bread, the end pieces are usually left behind. They’re somewhat appreciated when toasted (super delicious with peanut butter and a little sea salt), but they’re rarely anyone’s first choice.

That’s quite different with these bottoms. These aren’t tough bread crusts, but beautiful, full, round, fluffy rolls. Exactly like the cutest dog’s bottom in the universe: that of the corgi.

Filled, too

You can buy them at Utiwapayna bakery in Sapporo. And as if they weren’t already perfect enough, they’re also filled with custard or jam. Now that’s a bottom you’ll want to eat.
