De Librije to Bonaire

Jonnie and Thérèse Boer of De Librije are taking on the adventure of managing a new beach restaurant on Bonaire, entirely in the De Librije style.

From 1 November 2017, you can visit Delfins Beach Resort for a true Librije experience: the products are selected with the same care, and some of the staff from Zwolle will come along to ensure that everything will be of the same quality. The menu is creative yet accessible. In this way, De Librije wants to convey its philosophy in Bonaire.

The dishes are inspired by everything Jonnie and Thérèse have eaten around the world, and local products are used extensively in the cooking. For example, iguana will be used in the tom kha kai soup instead of chicken, and the team will serve locally caught fish.
