Deliciously savory: a Sinterklaas croquette letter

Kroketletter(1)

Sinterklaas is pretty much done for me now, as in: tie a bow around it, done. Sweet is good, but savory is even better, so while Camp Chocolate, Gingerbread Cookie and Confectionery have been catered to for days by Sugar Pete, here comes the merciless comeback of Savory Pete: a letter made of croquette!

Oh, come on, take a look! A lehtter made of crohquette…

The owners of the Croquette Boutique in Utrecht came up with the letter last year and developed it for the oven and air fryer. Always thinking about how to get people to eat croquettes on even more occasions, the celebration that seems to have kept the Netherlands busy for years is, of course, a perfect opportunity. Because if there’s one thing that brings people together, it’s food, right? It was a capital-S Success; last year, the letters flew out of the boutique

Flavors

This year, the letter is available in the flavors aged cheese, pulled beef, veal, mushroom & truffle (vegan), and speculaas (sweet). It’s also quite large, so if you’re feeling particularly generous and want to share, you won’t go without yourself.

He’s coming, he’s coming…
