Dining in a Hot-Air Balloon

A ride in a hot-air balloon is already a unique experience, but what if a dinner is also prepared for you using the balloon’s hot air? From the beginning of April, you can once again make a reservation at the only hot-air balloon restaurant in the world: CuliAir.

Master chef Angelique Schmeinck is the only person in the world who can say that she cooks using the heat of a hot-air balloon. The flying restaurant has room for 14 people. For 415 euros per person, you will gain two unique experiences in one go.
In collaboration with BAS Ballonvaarten, the chef has been offering various arrangements at great heights since 2003. You can dine at sunset, for example, or choose sunrise for a champagne breakfast.
Scallops and guinea fowl
Using a pulley system, the dishes are brought to the top of the balloon in specially developed oven baskets. When the scallops, guinea fowl and other delicacies are ready, the final preparation takes place in the presence of the guests.
The dishes are served on tables suspended outside the basket, allowing you to look out over the landscape below during dinner.
