Domino’s launches new pizza with fries: the Frietzza

Eke Bosman, better known as Instagram phenomenon @snackspert, ate his first frikandel as a baby, hates vlammetjes, has devoured at least 1,500 burgers in his lifetime, suspects there is more mayonnaise in his body than blood, and shares his best and worst snack reviews on FavorFlav. This week, he doesn’t have to choose between fries or pizza. He orders the Frietzza from Domino’s. He also ate an amazing Vegan Döner and a ridiculously delicious sandwich at G’rilla Kitchen in Rotterdam.

Domino’s Frietzza

After Domino’s cheeseburger pizza and frikandel pizza, it’s time for the next step: the Frietzza! Yessss, we’re just carrying on with these kinds of combinations, because at Domino’s anything is possible… 😂 👍 Some nice pickles on top, soft French cheese, onion and much more. Oh, and did you know that from now on you can also simply have fries delivered? I had the XL. No more having to choose between pizza and fries. Or, in my case: why not both?
Helin’s Vegan Döner, Amsterdam

I already wrote about it in @pshetparool this weekend, but I’ve become a fan. A fan of a place I didn’t know until a month ago: Helin’s Vegan Döner in Amsterdam-Oost, on Linnaeusstraat. And boy oh boy, this place deserves all the love. They make one of the most delicious vegan döner kebabs I’ve eaten in ages. There, I’ve said it. And anyone eating gluten-free, take note: Helin’s vegan döner is gluten-free. Good to know, but above all, a real pleasure. This vegan döner is based on soybeans, by the way, but you don’t taste that at all in the aftertaste. Thank God. The danger with vegan döner is that it can quickly feel dry, but here that’s perfectly solved by the fresh vegetables and vegan garlic sauce. I would have liked the sandwich to be a little soggier, but that’s really a tiny downside. This is simply incredibly good vegan döner, delicious. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ½

Hot chick burrito from G’rilla Kitchen, Rotterdam

Do you know G’rilla Kitchen in Rotterdam yet? If not, it’s time to get acquainted. And no, if you’re taking part in Waste February, this is also a great place to get started – plenty of healthy bowls so your friend doesn’t have to say, “Do you really want a burrito? I want something healthy.” YOU CAN HAVE BOTH! But anyway, let me get to the point. I had the hot chick burrito from G’rilla Kitchen, filled with grilled Cajun chicken thigh fillet (a lovely Mexican touch), roasted broccoli (one of my favorite vegetables), a bell pepper mix, spicy chili pepper, corn, gochujang (red pepper paste) dressing, and Parmesan cheese as well. Right, let me catch my breath, but honestly, this is a combination of ingredients you don’t often see elsewhere. Very nice! It was a lovely mix of salty, spicy and sweet, but I did miss the creaminess. Still, that’s no disaster, because the flavors create the kind of fire and heat you normally only see at stunt shows. This burrito turned out really well. And finally, something different from the average ingredients you find at the average burrito place. A great success. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
