Dream job alert: food explorer
Travel through countries like China, India, Turkey, Mexico or Japan for four months, eat everything you can get your hands on and get paid for it too. If that isn’t a dream job, I don’t know what is. At the British company Vibrant Vegan Co., it’s possible.
They are looking for a Director of Taste to visit all these different countries in search of new plant-based ingredients for the brand.
During your travels through these countries, you’ll taste vegan products and meals and share your feedback with the company. You don’t have to be vegan for the job, but you must not mind leaving the pork belly, tandoori chicken and sushi alone and primarily tasting exotic plant-based ingredients. Your hotels, meals and flights will be fully covered by the company.
Experience
The job pays around 58,000 euros per year, including 28 vacation days and sick pay. You’re expected to work 35 hours a week and have a flexible work schedule. Do you get homesick? Then this job definitely isn’t for you. After all, you’ll be away from home for long periods of time.
