Last year we were there and completely overwhelmed: the dinner of the culinary society Les Patrons Cuisiniers. This illustrious group, consisting of 22 of the Netherlands’ finest chefs, will soon be cooking together again. Start saving, because you can attend this full-evening gastronomic spectacle.
The slogan ‘Go big or go home‘ was made for the Patrons. And they are going all out during this anniversary edition of the Grand Gala, on 26 January 2020 at the five-star Kurhaus. From the moment of arrival, with champagne and caviar, what else, amazing amuse-bouches and a unique six-course dinner to the (literally!) grand dessert buffet: this really is very special.
Les Patrons Cuisiniers
Les Patrons has existed since 1991. At the time, it was founded by nine leading Dutch chefs who wanted to improve the craftsmanship, culinary creativity and quality of gastronomy in the Netherlands. Mission accomplished, because Dutch chefs enjoy great esteem both at home and abroad, and the culinary society of yesteryear has since evolved into a close gastronomic alliance of 22 of the Netherlands’ most prominent chefs, together accounting for 25 Michelin stars. What unites all these fellow professionals? First and foremost, the passion, dedication and pursuit of perfection in everything they do, but certainly also the fun they have in their profession. And that is exactly what radiates when all the Patrons come together once a year to celebrate their Grand Gala. This gastronomic spectacular traditionally concludes with a party featuring cocktails and, well, a few more bites.
