Croissant + taco = tarco
The croissushi (a croissant with sushi filling) and the cronut (the famous New York donut made from croissant dough) are two hugely popular variations on the classic croissant. The tarco, a taco made from crispy croissant dough, may become just as beloved. A bakery in San Francisco has added this savory puff pastry creation to its menu, and they are literally flying off the counter. The bakery serves its tarcos with chicken, pulled pork or jackfruit, and always with salsa dip, avocado, corn and a wedge of lime.

Pop-up store for Labfresh
Labfresh develops shirts that repel odors and stains. If you spill red wine, it stays on the shirt instead of soaking in. Pour water over it and the stain disappears. Wow. Want one? In De 9 Straatjes in Amsterdam, Labfresh is opening a pop-up store this week. You can get a shirt there until the end of March. Psst, you can also enjoy a drink while shopping.

‘Stop pimping it’
Health blogger Amanda posted a photo on Instagram this week showing the difference between an Instagram-worthy breakfast and the portion of yogurt you actually shovel down in the morning: almost four hundred calories. ‘If you try to make your food look excessively beautiful for extra hearts on social media, there’s a good chance you’ll eat much more than is good for you,’ she writes beneath her post. Do all the fit girls posting yogurt actually finish their entire bowls too?

So just act normal. Stop pimping it and keep it small and simple. Fewer likes, then.
