Food delivered right to the iPhone queue

Forget the crushed bag of crisps and soggy cheese sandwich. When the new iPhone XR launches, tech enthusiasts will simply order a proper bite to eat, whatever the weather. On 26 October, Deliveroo will bring orders directly to the queue outside the Apple Store on Leidseplein in Amsterdam, preventing the rumbling stomachs of iPhone fans.

After the recent commotion surrounding the iPhone X – where emaciated fanatics waited for hours for a phone that had sold out after just 10 minutes – Deliveroo is now making sure fans are not left hungry. Apple freaks can order from one of the restaurants near the Apple Store – without losing their place in the queue. Waiting becomes much more enjoyable with a good breakfast from, for example, Jack’s Juice & Kitchen, Homemade, Le Pain Quotidien or Slowth Brunch.
