For all Baileys fans: you’ll want to try the new Baileys Chocolate (with recipe)

Baileys chocolate

It’s no secret: here in the editorial office, we’re crazy about Baileys. Our Baileys iced coffee is the drink for when the sun is shining, and Baileys Ice Pralines are a permanent fixture in our freezer. Baileys Chocolate, the newest Baileys baby, is definitely worth trying too.

What can you expect? Well, Baileys Chocolate combines Baileys Original Irish Cream with real Belgian chocolate. A case of 1 + 1 = 3, if you ask me. Delicious straight from the fridge, in a milkshake or drizzled over a scoop of vanilla ice cream! Perfect for an easy and delicious dessert—we even approve of it as the finale to Christmas dinner.

Just make sure you don’t pour it over your children’s ice cream too, unless you want them to spend the rest of the evening sprawled out on the sofa. Baileys Chocolate contains 15.7% alcohol.

Also delicious: the new Baileys as a variation on the famous ESMA (Espresso Martini). And it’s really quick to make.

Here’s what you need:

  • 50 ml Baileys Chocolate
  • 25 ml (Smirnoff) vodka
  • 30 ml fresh espresso
  • 10 ml syrup

How to make a Baileys Chocolate Martini:

  • Add all the ingredients to the cocktail shaker
  • Shake and strain into a coupe or martini glass
  • Garnish with three coffee beans.
