Free beignets all day

Thursday, June 22 is a day to celebrate, because you can get free beignets all day at Miss Louisa in Amsterdam. All to celebrate Beignet Day.

You can pick up these light, deep-fried little pillows all day from the special beignet window. From as early as 06:30 in the morning. A quick stop for that coffee before work, during lunch or as the perfect end to a day of shopping. Miss Louisa is located on Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal, near Central Station.

Deep-fried sweet snack

Beignets are deep-fried batter, in the same category as oliebollen and churros. The city of New Orleans in the United States is known for having the very best, but fortunately we can now get them in our capital too. Covered in a generous amount of powdered sugar, they taste best.
