game of thrones creme brulee

Fans of the series Game of Thrones wait eagerly every year for the newest season. When the day finally arrives, it naturally has to be accompanied by snacks fit for a king.

Are you watching with friends who love food just as much as they love your favorite series? Then definitely make one of these snacks, for the ultimate experience.

Deviled eggs

Make deviled (stuffed) eggs. They’re ready in no time, and if you top them with bacon bits and Tabasco, they look just like dragon eggs.

Lemon cakes

Lady Sansa’s favorite snack. These little lemon cakes are easy to make and wonderfully refreshing in warm weather. If you don’t have small bundt pans, you can also use your muffin tin.

Venison heart tartare

The Dothraki warriors have a ritual in which expectant mothers eat a horse’s heart to predict how strong their child will become. We couldn’t find a recipe for horse heart, but serve this venison heart tartare on toast and your guests will be just as amazed. And perhaps a little horrified.

Crème brûlée

The dessert itself may not be entirely Game of Thrones. But the above video from Epicurious will make you forget that completely. You do need your own dragon to create the sugar crust.

Dragon fruit drink

It’s still summer when the new season comes out. So as much as you may want to serve grim dishes, a refreshing drink probably wouldn’t hurt. This drink is made with dragon fruit, so it’s still quite fitting.

Fortune cookies

Chocolate cookies that predict your future, but with nothing but Game of Thrones quotes. They’re a bit fiddly to make, but lots of fun to give to everyone after the meal.

Dragonstone affogato

One of our favorite, and especially easiest, Italian desserts is affogato. Nothing more than a scoop of vanilla ice cream topped with espresso. In this recipe, they make it extra Game of Thrones by adding bourbon and saffron.
