Genius: indoor play centre opens its doors to adults with drinks and happy hour

In times of corona, businesses naturally have to get creative, and sometimes the most fun ideas come from that. Ideas that remain successful even after corona. Take indoor play centre Big Fun, which is normally packed with kids and where, as an adult, you wouldn’t exactly choose to spend your time voluntarily. So they came up with a brilliant idea.

Because indoor play centres are simply fun for adults too. But let’s be honest, it isn’t really appreciated when you join in climbing around among all the kids. No, we adults are expected to wait in the rather meagre café area until the kids have finished having lots of fun there – and should be happy if we can eat a bag of crisps or a toasted sandwich…
Big Fun exclusively for adults
Yes, that’s a thing of the past now. LOVE IT! Big Fun is open to adults. Including alcoholic drinks and even a happy hour – you get two cocktails for the price of one. My Moscow Mule can be delivered to the ball pit, thank you very much. Or on the trampoline. Or at the top of the slide.
And how much does it cost? Just eight euros, so you’re truly doing your wallet a disservice if you don’t go. Although that does exclude travel costs… And those are hefty. This Big Fun location is in Hull, and if you don’t know it, that’s understandable: it’s a small town in England, to the right of Leeds. But one positive point: it’s by the water and there’s a boat from Rotterdam. I say: DO IT. This is surely too much fun not to organise as an outing with your friends?
Check their site for all the information – and here’s an urgent request for indoor play centres in the Netherlands to follow their example.
