Getting to grips with game in West Friesland

The hunting season is open, so pheasants, rabbits and other game may be hunted again. Would you like to learn more about this? Then be sure to go to the Game Workshop on 29 October, an event where you learn to cook with game and, of course, hear more about hunting.

During this day in West Friesland, you will get to work with game. The hunters set out in the morning and return with their catch during the day. After that, the animals are skinned and plucked, while vegetables are also picked in the garden. And so much hard work deserves a lunch.

After lunch, it is time to make your own sauerkraut and pâté. In the evening, a dinner will take place, which the hunters will also attend.
