Reservation for Noma on eBay

Noma, the restaurant of René Redzepi, has a pop-up restaurant in Australia for ten weeks and as the end approaches (the pop-up closes on April 2), prices are becoming increasingly outrageous. A reservation for four people at Noma in Australia is currently being offered for $2450 on eBay. And the price just keeps rising. More than 25,000 people were on the waiting list beforehand to dine at Redzepi’s restaurant, but there is not room for everyone. All those lucky enough to secure a spot can enjoy a special menu composed of unique local products such as crocodile fat and ants.

Supermarkets allowed to give away food

Italian supermarkets may now give unsold food to charities and people in need. This has been made possible by an amendment to Italian law. With the legislative change, the government wants to ensure that less food is thrown away. Last year, food worth €12 billion ended up in the trash.
