Great invention: the Lego waffle maker

In the world of food, inventions are regularly created that genuinely make your life better. Just think of the Airfryer, silicone baking molds, the slow cooker and colored powdered sugar. A place must now be made in this hall of fame for the invention of 2020 (already): the Lego waffle maker. With this waffle iron, you bake waffles shaped like Lego bricks, which you can stack on your breakfast plate into… well, whatever you want, really.

Kickstarter is an online platform where inventors can look for people willing to invest money in their new invention. For 50 dollars, investors received a waffle maker, and for 75 dollars, they got two plates as well. Within thirty hours, the creators of the Lego waffles had raised all the money they needed to bring their new product to market. That means the waffle maker will be shipped around the end of March, which is now, to the first two thousand people who invested money.
Wrong plug
Unfortunately, the waffle appliance has an American plug. So it is not suitable for a European socket. That is a major disappointment, because many people from Germany, the Netherlands and France have registered on the creators’ website to order the appliance. Be patient—the creators are working on it…
