Halva and Tahini at Sumsum & Co

At Sumsum & Co, flavors from the Middle East, Africa and Asia are combined. The new shop on Heiligeweg in Amsterdam specializes in halva and tahini.

Halva is a soft, sweet snack that can be eaten as a dessert, but actually at any time of day. In the shop, they cut off a slice for you from a massive large block—delicious. It is made from, among other things, sesame seeds.

You can also visit Sumsum & Co for tahini, our favorite sesame paste. The sesame seeds used are of the highest quality. You can choose from no fewer than 25 flavors of both halva and tahini.

So do take your time when you come in here. In addition to halva and tahini, they also sell a whole lot of other treats, including many different kinds of tea and cookies.
