Have you heard of frosecco yet?

In 2016, a bartender at Bar Primi in New York decided to mix rosé with a Slush Puppie –frosé was born. Now, a year later, the trend continues. Meet the most delicious relative of frosé: frosecco.

Frosecco is exactly what you think it is – frozen prosecco. A bartender at the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge in New York claims to be the first person to make frosecco. The bar sells two varieties of the ultimate summer drink: frosecco fiore, topped with elderflower, and frosecco frutta with blueberries and peach.

Frozen revolution

Could there be such a thing as a frozen revolution? As far as we’re concerned, there is. There are already many varieties of frosé (such as this strawberry version), and frosé sorbet is now a thing too. The prosecco & peach Bellini popsicles from Aldi were also hugely popular last year, and we hope they return to the shelves this year. What’s the next step? Frampagne?
