Hero board for Cruijff

At Amsterdam’s Kaagman & Kortekaas, you eat wonderfully (read our review of the restaurant here), but this dish, number fourteen, really stands out.

Giel Kaagman, chef at K&K (read our review of the restaurant here), was not in the best of moods after Johan Cruijff’s death. To lift his spirits, he came up with this dish, a serious tribute to number fourteen. The dish is packed with references to football, Amsterdam, Barcelona and, of course, Cruijff himself.
