Hit on TikTok: super easy pesto cookies
Ever since I invented TikTok, I’ve added SO many foods and recipes to my standard repertoire. And, to be completely honest, they’re mainly easy recipes that are ready quickly and that everyone enjoys. A win-win situation, then, because I’ve already surprised many a guest with my TikTok creations. The latest hit is these pesto cookies, from the account @hapjesvanmaurits.
Actually, it isn’t entirely his recipe, as it’s his mother’s. So: thanks, Maurits’s mother! These pesto cookies are absolutely delicious.
Only four (!) ingredients needed
Now that’s what I like. Not having to empty the supermarket shelves for hours, but simply four ingredients and you’re done. Five if you don’t want to make them vegetarian, by the way. The shopping list is as follows: puff pastry, cheese, pesto and sun-dried tomatoes. GREAT. And then optionally some Parma ham if you want to make them with meat — that sounds delicious too.
Then simply roll it up, put it in the freezer, slice it and put it in the oven. Sounds simple, and it is — so easy, in fact, that it can be fully explained in a TikTok video of less than a minute. And most importantly: they’re delicious. See for yourself.
