Honestly, I was pretty skeptical about TikTok at first. Now I don’t think I’m really the target audience either, but I have to say: there are A LOT of useful tips on there. And not necessarily beauty hacks, no; hacks that we food lovers can really use too.

And I’m going to tell you all about them in this new feature, ‘TikTok hack of the week’. Packed with game changers for the kitchen. This is the very first one, and one I absolutely love. You see, I’m one of those people who started baking banana bread after the pandemic began. But it does take some time every time. Time I sometimes don’t have, but the craving for banana bread is definitely there. You guessed it: TikTok to the rescue!

How to make banana bread in 60 seconds

So how ideal is it if you can make banana bread in one minute? Of course, it isn’t a gigantic piece, but it’s big enough for one serving, and that’s exactly what I need. What do you need? Half a banana, oat flour, milk, vanilla (sugar), cinnamon and baking powder, plus optionally desiccated coconut and almonds (or another type of nut of your choice). Mix everything together, put it in the microwave for one minute and tadaaaa: READY. Great, right?!
