When I say ‘boozy liquid dessert’, I see your ears perk up and your eyebrows shoot up, right? That’s what I thought! And I have good news for you, because this delicious tiramisu choctail is a truly wonderful treat. We know full well that Italians don’t consider this a real tiramisu, especially because it doesn’t involve biscuits soaked in almond liqueur. But just this once, let’s pretend it’s allowed: this utterly delicious tiramisu choctail. Because this unique twist on the classic recipe has an irresistible flavor. Drink your dessert

The video below uses Mozart Cream Chocolate Liqueur, which you can find (or order) at well-stocked liquor stores. Another creamy chocolate liqueur (or crème de cacao) should work too, but what you definitely need for that festive tiramisu effect is mascarpone and espresso. And whipped cream to finish it off!

How to make a tiramisu choctail

For 4 glasses, combine 10 cl liqueur (Mozart Cream Chocolate Liqueur is used in this recipe) with 2 cl cold espresso and 3 tsp mascarpone in a shaker with ice cubes. Shake vigorously, then strain into four small glasses. Garnish with a dollop of whipped cream and a pinch of cocoa powder. And you know what? Make another round. Cheers!
