Spreadable whisky on your bread is the latest novelty in the world of sandwich toppings, and gift webshop Firebox came up with it. They recommend eating it on toasted bread or on a cracker with Roquefort and advertise it as ‘the perfect alternative for anyone who thinks a morning drink goes a bit too far, but would secretly enjoy one.’

What does it taste like?

The taste? If we are to believe the reviews, ‘like orange marmalade with a hint of smoky whisky.’ The Spreadable Whisky is available for €11.19 per jar.
