Ice-cold Big Mac, anyone?

Going for a Maccie every now and then is delicious, but in summer we actually crave ice cream more. If you’re in Leiden, you no longer have to choose: IJs van Matthijs sells Big Mac ice cream.

The Big Mac flavour actually started as a joke and is now listed on his Facebook page under the heading ‘What happens if you lose a bet?’. So you get hordes of people coming to your shop, all wanting to try Big Mac ice cream. It’s only a matter of time before the first people from Japan try it, because the news about Matthijs’ Big Mac ice cream has been making the rounds there too.

Is the ice cream tasty? Matthijs gives the diplomatic answer: “It’s not disgusting, but I don’t think you want a whole scoop of it either. I always let people taste a spoonful.”
