The Pizookie is a gigantic chocolate chip cookie shaped like a pizza. Not savory, then, but completely sweet. And an XL warm, filled chocolate chip cookie, do we need to say more? Not really, right? So let’s get started!

This Pizookie is crispy and chewy and consists of buttery chocolate chip cookie dough on the outside, with a warm stream of Nutella inside. Served warm straight from the oven with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream, this really is the ultimate family dessert!

How to make the Pizookie

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  • Mix the butter with the sugar for about two minutes until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time and mix until all the egg has been fully incorporated into the batter. Then add the vanilla extract.
  • Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir with a spatula until combined.
  • Then fold the chocolate pieces into the batter.
  • Press half of the cookie dough into a greased baking pan. Spread the Nutella over the cookie dough, leaving 1 centimeter of space around the edges. Then press the other half of the cookie dough on top and sprinkle the remaining chocolate pieces over it.
  • Bake the Pizookie in the oven for 20–30 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let the Pizookie cool for 5 minutes before serving it with ice cream.
