Is restaurant Noma getting a sister?

We’ve been following René Redzepi and René’s Noma on Instagram for a while now. He likes to post Instastories about the day-to-day running of his restaurant. Yesterday, though, we caught a particularly juicy rumor… is there going to be a second Noma?

In one of his Instastories, you can see an extremely charming selfie of René, taken from a frog’s-eye view (never take selfies from a frog’s-eye view). Accompanied by the text:

“If you wanna look like this on a early sunday morning – then spend two months making a 22 course vegetarian menu, have 3 kids, turn 40 and finish a 90 hour work week… and put yourself in debts for the next 20 years because you gotta have a new restaurant.“

Followed by a whole lot of panicked laughing emojis. What particularly stood out to us, besides his ‘spicy’ workweek, was of course the last sentence. A new restaurant? What? When? Where? We’re curious, and if we hear more, we’ll of course let you know right away.
