Kids ready? Start baking!
There’s going to be a Heel Holland Bakt for children. Janny van der Heijden revealed this on Tijd voor Max. ‘We’ve noticed that many young people and children watch, so we should give them the opportunity too.’
Jan Slagter, the head of broadcaster Omroep Max, previously told AD about plans for a baking show for kids. ‘Do you remember how appealing baking was to you as a child? How a cake rises in the oven, the cookies slowly turn golden brown, licking the bowl clean?’
Heel Holland Bakt children’s cookbook
Apparently, Heel Holland Bakt is incredibly popular with children, says Janny. It’s no wonder that a junior version is coming. ‘We should give those children an opportunity too.’ Janny van der Heijden isn’t revealing much more about what, when or how. It’s all still a little mysterious. It doesn’t matter: there’s already a Heel Holland Bakt children’s cookbook, so preparations can begin. Kids ready? Start baking!
