Say goodbye to your good intentions and hello to those love handles: McDonald’s is launching cheese bacon fries.

Yes, really: fries buried under a load of golden-yellow cheddar sauce and pieces of crispy bacon. Oh lordy.

The ‘cheesy bacon fries’, as they are called in America, were already being sold at McDonald’s locations in Hawaii and California in November, but according to Business Insider, they will be sold throughout the United States from 2019 onward.

Limited edition

And the Netherlands? “No, unfortunately not,” says a spokesperson for McDonald’s Netherlands. “But they are available in our southern neighbors’ country, so if you want to try them, you can go there.”

In Belgium, the cheese bacon fries are currently available as a limited edition. Until when? That is unknown. Are they sold out there already? Then you can still go to Spain, where the fries are a standard menu item.
